Love Letter 58 Fire Flies

I have looked at you and seen from afar, your beauty
when, in moments pensive, on the verge of tears or laughter, thinking to yourself, of all the world's exhausting wages
but even when your brow grows heavy
my heart is unchained
I see in you
all the beauty in me plus all the beauty that is out there
plus
all the beauty that is
to be had
a haven
in this world
and each ounce of tears or laughter
you shed
is like a flight of birds
lifting open
the dragon
from his lair
and freeing
the sun
from his
kindling fangs

You, my Beloved, ARE A FIERCE LOVER
and I love you

Your Beloved
