Love Letter 23 Melting Snow Love Poem

four feet of snow
one inch thick
the rain
like a parallel

you center
on a wide margin
where
only emptiness
can enter

but
I Am Here

the walk was long
not much encouragement
you worked the loom
like a lithograph

and then you turned

I Am Here

the words
fold
the sun cannot melt all the snow this instant
so
it
slowly
melts

but
I Am still Here

you had to find your home again
I understand.

I Am Here

You had to find who you are
I know

I Am Here

you had to get lost first.
yes
and makes some changes
okay
and

I Am Here

We can watch the snow melt together.

I love you
Your Beloved
