like decor
moving through my tunnel

DAYLIGHT

I wanted to learn to write
so words
might find a way
to levitate the page
and make it in

until the Ace
sits in your hand
like a deuce.

I wanted to see your hand
so I could watch
that 2 become the Whole World, just by being revealed

Your beauty to be vulnerable
Your courage
to let go of all the cards
and just
BE in the middle
of nowhere with me

I wanted to be vulnerable
and open
and unfolded
like a napkin from a wedding
that will enjoy many layers and lifetimes of cake

Because of YOU
even chocolate
is a mirage in your presence

and I throw all my money
into
confetti
which will keep being found
in your precious adventure
like tulips
growing wildly open, even in the frost

and Because of YOU
I have come to know
my own shame, and shape it into a Shem

and only Light can show what Light Is
and only Love can show what Love Is

there is LOVE
and
there is LIGHT

and I am Graced
